Australia is an amazing country. 

Part of what makes Australia so amazing is its system of democratic government and civil engagement.

But civil society has struggled in the last decades. 

And our democracy has struggled as a result. 

The Democratic Conference is a response to this struggle. By bringing people together it provides a space to rebuild civil society and community engagement through conversation and contemplation.
